Holy crap - that's the best car interface I've ever seen. The integration is amazing. I like the auto-mute for the nav - just like stock (the synthesized computerized voice is so-so but having it annouce actual street names is cool).

I am using CoPilot v8 now and have a USB GPS. Hope you have an option where we can continue to use our existing GPS hardware, just get the software added on.

I wish I had had time to participate in the Beta test...

Looks really impressive Chuck - I've been playing with 3rd party components and there's always something missing.

Quick question - can you record XM using it? (like TimeTrax?)

Did you plug in a 3rd party GPS and integrate with StreetDeck or write your own? NavTeq maps?

I really can't believe it does all those things as well as the video demonstrates.

Now I gotta find that thread for pricing and availability...

Navigation is based on Mappoint data. They use NavTeq maps. Pricing will be significantly under $100, but you'll have to add the cost of mappoint 2004 to that for nav to work.

Yes, you can record XM. When recording is enabled, it constantly records the XM audio stream, as soon as you hit the record function, it will wait till the current song ends, then save it to its own wmv file and add it to your media collection. You don't need any other software, just XM hardware hooked up to your PC.

Already have mappoint 2004 lying around somewhere - never installed it. So I'm ready to go when you are!

One more quick ? (sorry to be asking for features even before it's released): I want to be able to use my cell phone in the car and have not found a good way to integrate that with the PC. Any chance your software can do this?

My G35 hasn;t been delivered yet, but I want to know a hardware list as well. Is this just an all-in one app that should be in our carputer's Windows startup group?

We priced out a very capable complete system with NAV at under $1500. This was with a regular screen, not the G35 screen housing though and that price could change from a large number of factors, but thats a good ballpark. Right now were dealing with a ton of various little marketing and distribution issues so it could be as long as a month until I'm allowed to post the demo, but I plan on posting the link here before anywhere else once its available.
