It will be a single fullscreen app that will run at startup. We will be selling complete systems, but if your going to build it yourself, you'll need a Direct3D capable system, i.e. VIA SP13000.

A double-din version?

Hi - what I want is to gut out the factory Bose, replacing it with something that has the form factor of the Pioneer AVIC-D1. So what would I need to use the cpu and get a touch-screen/HU? Any ideas? This would be my wish list:

Car computer to handle nav, diagnostics, mp3 playback.
Satellite radio
touch screen double din display
WiFi to connect with my home network.
Rear-view camera (automatically comes on when in reverse, optional
at other times)
USB port for a thumb drive / usb card reader (vacation pics)
min. 60 gB drive (more if 3.5 inch is used - 300 gB)
DVD playback (can't see me using this often)
iPod port (hey - can I use iTunes and just use a firewire port to the ipod?)
Audio in port
HU features with a decent amp (no worse that the Prem Bose, hopefully better) that can be controlled thru the steering wheel controls.

I know it is a lot, but is anything like this planned or possible??

Thanks!

They dont make them anymore I bought the last one about 3 years ago.

Chuck (God Of PC) was the one making them with MP3Car but when he parted ways because of his StreetDeck software partnership issues he stopped making them.

They were very expensive 750.00

I may be selling mine I think I am going to a tablet PC like the HP slate and getting rid of my whole carpc setup.
