hey guys, so i got my kicker 10" and kx 550.2 installed running on a stock hu and i have the bose amp. the system hits but it hits poorly. i know the kicker can do 80% better than wt is bumping. can anyone help? maybe on how to bridge the wires? or how or where should the converter be connected? or anything? by the way the sub is a 4ohm dual and the amp specs is bridged rms @ 4ohms at 550w x1. ANY ANY help would be greatly appreciated. i tried using the search but found things i dont think concerns this matter. thank you

 

I say run the LOC after the Bose Amp.

run the voice coil in parallel and bridge your amp and it should sound better.

Properly adjust your gains

 

I feel like a tard asking this but what is a LOC?

 

Line Output Converter=convert reg speaker wires(High) to RCA's(Low)

Why would you say install the LOC after the Bose amp? I've read that it was better to do it before the amp...

Just do the double din conversion. I originally went with an LOC, but got noise. Within a month I took the car to the shop and had the conversion done. It sounds way better.
