05 6MT MP3 Player

Is there a way to make the stock MP3 player display the names of each track? Also do the 05 coupes not display the names and songs of each radio stations? Or is it just me.

If you are in radio mode, press and hold the DISP button...
If in CD mode, you gotta do that again to see CD names/Song names...
If in MP3 CD mode, gotta press and hold it down...

Basically for evey mode you are in, you must hold the DISP down until it shows up. So if your in satellite mode, it wont show up if you don't press and hold DISP...even if you did it for CD and Radio mode...once you do it, it will stay like that until you change it back....

And as for radio stations...only if they broadcast in RDS then you will get the station name, but some will only do station name and not songs, while others broadcast everything...station name and artist/song name...

Not if its your own music (i.e. MP3, CD...) If the radio broadcasts in RDS, then it automatically scrolls, you cannot control this.

Try reducing your sampling rate to 160kbps. I'm assuming that you rip at a high rate and I know that the system in the G don't like that.

No, the burning rate. Never burn music at 24Kb/s or more. Needs to be like 16Kb/s for best results in all players.
