There is an installer in my area (Burlington, NJ) that does great work. I asked him to give me a quote for the installation job. I know that it will be a bit high since I have my own equipment and he does not get the profit on that.
Today he quoted me $1300 for the install.
WTF !!!
I think he just does not want to do the job so is driving me away with the high $$$
What do you think?
Anybody want to recommend a reasonably priced but good installer in NJ; NYC or Philly areas

Too bad i couldn't stay longer to hear the final product but ill see you either in pocono's or philly meet
one is blowing in the other is blowing out.
Mostly there to circulate air since the amps are covered on the sides and only the top are exposed so there is less heat dissipitation so the fans circulating air under the cover helps that out

no they actually mounted the amps on the trunk floor.
The cover you can take off and since the trunk floor is flexible you can still take out your spare.
It's a b1tch but better than nothing.

Autosound in south brunswick did my truck, when i had it, they did a completely custom job, including running wire and installing to sets of components, building an enclosure and amp/cap rack, doing all the labor for about 600, turned out visually incredible, sounded better than it looked, and i was very pleased. I will be going back to them when i decide to put my focals in the G.
I can't imagine them charging that much more for a G. I know they told me it was a pain in the *** to take apart the dash, but they'll cut you a deal im sure.
