MP3 available through SAT Input...?

MP3 available through SAT Input...?
I used to sell and install car audio back in high school...after getting 4 different systems stolen I gave up on all the amps, subwoofers etc since it was just a waste of money with people stealing and breaking into my cars, etc...and I guess I grew out of it or something...but my question is...I've been kind of away from all the technology in car audio (from an installation standpoint) for a number of years now and I'm wondering what the input was like for the SAT radio on our Bose systems. What I mean is, would it be possible to hook up a portable MP3 player through the SAT input...? Or is it something that's not possible...? Keep in mind also that I have one of the first coupes which was not "pre-wired" for the SAT and I would need to get the SAT Cable Kit (or whatever it is) in order to hook up the SAT in my coupe.
Thanks in advance.

Re: MP3 available through SAT Input...?
Based on what I've read here, the consensus is that you cannot. However, I'd encourage you to prove us wrong and report back to us how we can do it! Particularly to install another stereo head unit and run it through the SAT button instead of an FM modulator.
