Problems with DD install...HELP!!!

I spent all afternoon doing a double-din install on my 2004 sedan. I used the DD bracket, DD finisher, AC controller, Scosche NN wiring harness, Scosche Nissan Diversity Antenna Adapter, and PAC SWI-X. The HU works fine, but there's no sound (HU turns on, loads CDs, etc.). I haven't tested the SWI-X yet; maybe that's where I messed up? I connected the 2 resistors to the SWC wires and to the interface wire (white), and the yellow to chassis ground. I also noticed that there's an extra loose 12-pin harness...I've read other posts saying this is the SAT controls, and since I don't have SAT, it's okay to leave it loose...? And on the antenna adapter, there are 2 receptacles, but I only have 1 antenna input cable (2-prong). Is there supposed to be another cable plugged into the small receptacle?

It's so frustrating to be almost done with the install but have no sound! Any ideas on what I'm missing??? Help, please!!!

ok...let's break it down....first a couple questions...

1. besides the aftermarket HU and DD conversion, are you using stock or aftermarket amp(s)? are your RCAs hooked up correctly?

2. Is you wire harness connected correctly and snugly? if you are not using aftermarket amp(s), you should check the NN03 speaker wire harness to make sure all the connections are sound.

There should be potential extra harnesses you won't use....one is the steering wheel control harness which you probably used with the SWI-X unit.

If you do have aftermarket amps, is your remote power wire to your remote terminal on your amps connected?

The antenna adapter you have is the diversity antenna. Our Infiniti only has one antenna where other Nissan cars have 2 stock antennas (it scans and uses the best antenna out of the 2) that they use which accounts for your 2 receptacles on your antenna adapter. Doesn't matter, though, you can still use that one and it should work. The one I bought only has 1 receptacle on the adapter.

try these things and tell us your exact setup.....

Thanks for the reply. I'm using stock speakers, so I guess I'll check my NN03 connections again. So far, still no luck, though...

you have to connect the stock amp wire to the remote turn on wire to the new harness.

you stock amp is powering the speakers, the head unit isnt. The speakers are wired through your amp first.

I double checked my wiring harness, and found that one of them came apart during the installation. I reconnected, and that did the trick! Thanks for the responses...

Does anyone around have a picture of your wiring harness wired up and ready to go? or a diagram of the OEM Nissan wires and what they do/power/connect to?

I connected my Kenwood HU and the damn thing wont even light up, so I know some of the wires are wrong. I checked the head unit itself and it works perfectly when I connect it directly to the battery.

forget my request, I found it here http://www.nextmill.net/g35/g35stereodiagram.pdf
Thanks you guys

Adrian

Did you buy a harness adapter (eg scosche) or are you trying to tap in.
