heh, Alumapro cap is the way to go. I have the 15 farad and I ran the Memphis Belle off it powering a MTX 12" 9500 woofer. Lights still dimmed on the car etc but the bass loudness went up 1.2db when I installed it in the old car. (measured with the new sensor connected to laptop, so its legit.)
I will be installing it in my G this weekend with whatever I decide to put in the trunk. I think its worth it because it is much lighter than a complete Optima or whatever battery and it still does the job of providing the quick power to the amp when the amp needs it most.
Good luck

No Cap Can Replace An Optima- Get Real. But Those Alumapro Caps Are Really Clean Looking. Good Connectors, Good Weight, Really Clean Voltage. No Drops In My Experience. Go For An Optima First If Its A Money Thing, But Both Are Ideal If Your Pushing 2000+ Watts. Otherwise You May Strain Your Alternator And Electrical System.
