I don't like Focal, the highs are much too bright for me

 

Thats ok, I like a bright sound. But as for the price, is this good? Are there any lower priced places? Anyone order items from this vendor? etc...

 

i have the focal 165v2 slims sitting in my room awaiting install next week. I originally was going to order from that exact website and when i went to go ahead and order them I got a weird error message when i hit submit after entering all my info. It was like 11 oclock at night and they wernt open to call and when i get into a zone of buying i cant stop so i bought them for 22dollars more on ebay instead.

 

Crap, now I am considering the Diamond Audio D661As for $200 shipped...ARRGGGHH!!!!!
This damn audio stuff is addicting, confusing, and neverending!!!

Any thoughts on the D661's over the Focals?

 

Personally I perfer the DAs. Although I wouldnt buy either of them online.

 

I have had the focal v2's in my Sedan for about a year now. I love em. I think that price is very good. If you go to a retail store to get them they will try to sell them to you for $400 or more.

 

I have a set of brand new Focal 165 v2 for sale. Not going audio route anymore. PM me if interested
