Thanks SLVR!

That would be exactly my set up -- same phone and all.

So... can you dial from the car without using the handset or not?

el duderino -

Somebody else kind of asked this - I've been looking at aftermarket BT solutions for my 2005 G35 with Nav to pair with my RAZR. You mentioned that CK3100 that you installed in your car. I've also looked at the Tellphone 4000.

Does it integrate with the stock stereo? Automatically mute the stereo? Play the phone output through the stereo speakers?

I've found a few products that would seem to work, but with our screwed-up Bose stereo system, I wouldn't be surprised if it was all FUBARed. I've installed stereo stuff before, and am handy with splicing and soldering, no problem. Most important is integration with the stero for automatic muting and playing through the speakers. Forget installing some big-*** 5 watt speaker under my dash just for the phone output.

Thanks.

I purchased the CK3100 based on lots of recommendations and am getting it installed next week. Will let you know how it goes when done! Got a great deal from cellup.com - $166 including 3 day shipping. Install will be somewhere in the $150 - $200 range depending on where I go.

On mine, TellPhone 4000, I had to also purchase the mute module because there wasn't that option on the bose. With the mute module you use both front speakers in the car. I used the external speaker until I received the module and it wasn't that bad. I put it really high in the pass kick panel area where you couldn't see it.

SLVR -

Does the mute module then automatically mute the radio, or do you still have to push a button to mute? Sounds like it integrates nicely with this module.
