How many grounding points?

I'll be installing two amps. Should I use a separate grounding point for each amp? Or can I use the same grounding point?

grounding points

you most definately want to use the same grounding point. Otherwise, you may get a ground loop and accompanying noise. Be sure and grind the paint off of whatever point you choose for your ground.

Since I'm using 4 gauge for the grounding wire, would it be advisable to use one of these? It fits 1/0 gauge, and I should be able to squeeze (2) 4-gauge wires in there.

That's gold and says Stinger on it.

Those are the two reasons I wouldn't use it. But the electrons don't care.

Is platinum plating better than gold?

Both of my amps are grounded to the same bolt in the trunk. Didn't scrape the paint off. I have zero alternator noise or excessive noise.
