if you look at your dash (the gear shifter dash) there is a change compartment and the hazard. what the guy did is took out the change compartment and cut where the hazard was and then glued on the plate that comes with the pioneer dvd player and then fiberglassed the whole top part together. then of course painted it. he did however have to remove the duct that go towards your feet as seen in the picture and then just put duct tape over it. i really dont know what the function of the duct was, but he said he had done that in another car and it worked out fine and that i really didnt need that part. its all one piece so its not like you cant put it back if you decide to sell the car. also everything that was modified, the side panel of the ciggarrete lighter, the console is all available through infiniti parts so agian whenever you want to get rid of the car you can put it back the way it came from factory.

oh yeah about the stereo cage, it worked out kind of nicely bc when you take out the duct there are two holes there the exact size of the stereo cage just bend the cages' holes a little bit, to try to make the screen flush look, then screws right in.
