Custom NAV, DVD, and system put in...pics inside

Im posting for my brother steve, 'zaid918'

The system was just recently finished and just wanted to show you guys. And you'll all be happy to find out that the stereo and A/C controls are integrated on the same daughterboard. So its makes it extremely tough to add a stereo.

very nice. I did the same however i went through the factory stereo. bc of the problem of the circuit board. how did you manage to put the a/c panel below the stereo. is the circuit board still there. check my pictures out.

2. type in sachb79@yahoo.com in the email line.
3. in the left column under private album type in g35
4. click on album

Also got the nav to be functionable while driving. Check it out. The guys at a local dealer did an awesome job.

i saw your setup looks very clean
however, that was the setup before we put the nav in, We put a regular pioneer deck there and just did not like that position.

The whole board is actually mounted on the bottom and onlt the A/C controls are showing

Nav works while driving as well...

how much was the navigation?

whats up guys.. that is my coupe you guys saw.. wicked thanks for the compliment.. the trunk setup finish was i believe 400... and the navigation/dvd combined touch screen unit was 2400 together.. cheaper than the stock.. the units are the AVIC-80DVD and the AVH-P7500DVD both made by pioneer

hey guys check this option out if you want to add aftermarket dvd screen. allows you to keep the factory stereo and the steering controls. Max, not thjat your idea is bad just another one for our fellow g35 drivers.

steering controls for radio no longer work because i disabled the radio work.. the accelerator/cruise control works... Get rid of that bose radio....

Great looking install. How did you figure out which board controls the radio/HVAC controls? Was the board easy to remove from the factory mounting scheme? How do you have the board mounted in the final install? Did you need any special equipment to make the final install safe and reliable?

Thanks for the information. You're going to be popular with other G owners that want to change the Bose system. Take care.

i had it done professionally.. the A/C radio unit is all on one daughterboard.. so they had to relocate it to the bottom shifter bezel and hide the rest of the unit by cutting the shifter bezel just enough to clear the A/C controls.. they hid everything using dark plexiglass...... if u live in CA, i could give you the contact info !
