Is LANZAR any good lately?

How Lanzar Amp and Speakers lately? They were pretty good back in the early 90s but just kind of disappear from the the mainstream. The price seem to be very good but how was the sound quality and build.

They went broke and were bought by a crappy company. Stay away.

Lanzar was never good.
I highly recommend "Road Master" speakers they make music seem like your right there on stage with the band.

The Oldschool lanzar (esp opti-drive) amps were very solid... late 90's.

lol very funny

I had to go to a "flea market" here in NC this past weekend to get some cheap carpet... that was the most suspect event I've been to in a long time. There were all sorts of the classic stereotypical people trying to "pimp their rides" outside of the fleamarket using the equipment they just bought inside. The funny thing is, while my roommate was buying the carpet I strolled around and looked at the equipment. I've NEVER seen so much Pyramid equipment in one place. It was either Pyramid, Rockford Fosgate or other names I've never even heard of before like AWESOME AUDIO and stuff.

All in all it made me go home and hug my DLS box and give my 500/5 a nice petting.

Ah, I just finally got some decent deals on some Soundstream Tarantula's off of auction. Man, those things are hard to get even being discontinued for 2 years! Ah, now these are amps to behold! Once I get the rest of the system (Head Unit, Double Din, etc.) I will post some pics for you guys (although, really as though you guys haven't seen these already...basically Chromed with a huge chromed tarantula on it) As for the thread, yeah stay away from Lanzar. You are better off getting some kicker amps.
