I was wondering, what are some good subwoofers for a G35 Coupe? Also for those who have a sub in their coupe, does it take up all possible storage space in the trunk?

 

Get what you can afford. A decent quality 10" will sound good, not the booming bass, but loud quality bass. I am going with a 10" JL sub and 1000W digital pioneer amp. As for the enclosure, there aren't many that will fit in our small trunk. I am making a custom fiberglass enclosure, so that is what I would recommend. I'll post some pics when I am finished. Haven'd had much time to work on it.

i got 2 kicker solo baric l7 10" and they are clear and loud as [censored]. I would definitly recommend people to get this setup because it fits perfectly in the trunk too without taking much space.

it took most of the trunk for me, but it didnt have to be...you can put 10's at each back corner...if you lQQk under the cover, there are plenty room for sub box if you took the cupboard out...as far for which subs, its gonna be up to you, cause everyone have different taste and brand, if you want to save space, lQQK for sub that is ideal for a small box(.5cf for 10s,.75cf for 12's)

I have put in the kicker S8L7 Solo Baric Loaded Box, it sounds nice!!! Before the box, I have a Bazooka and it sounds pretty loud and the bass wasn't as tight

nope, i dont show the car, i promised myself few years ago, that i will not participate in any car audio contests, i am in No cali bay area...just check out your thread about the LEDs, will lQQk in to them later on, plan on add some under car LEDs...s.w.

I guess its possible to not use the entire trunk by makin a custom fiberglass enclsure to fit in teh corner. I chose the opposite route.

lime: about under car LEDs, i wouldn't get them. The tubes look ugly compare to neon tubes. ALso how are you going to hide them, our cars are covered on the bottom because of Coefficient drag(well it is for my sedan). Leds are cool! Ask pestilence for more information if you need it. He has it on his sedan! Looks okay. It does do different pattersn though!
