question about satellite radio

I have an '05 coupe. My stereo does NOT have a SAT button on it, does that mean my car is not prewired for satellite?
What are my options then? replacing the whole stereo or getting an uggly "add-on" satellite unit?

think i answered my own questions. went out and looked in the trunk and I DO have the satellite wiring harness. I guess they changed the front of the stereo, the RADIO button now tunes to the satellite instead of having a separate button.

It looks like you answered your own question. The 05's dropped the SAT button and put it on the radio function. When you connect the sat box it will go FM1->FM2->SAT1->SAT2..... You cycle through the radio function

How much did you pay for the kit and is it the factory OEM?

Are you going to DIY? That looks like an easy to screw up job to me.

it's so easy to install... I haven't personally done it, but all you need to do is lift up the carpeting / plastic in the trunk to expose the unconnected SAT harness... All you have to do is plug in / mount the reciever, place the antenna, and you're golden. After you install the box, SAT should become listed as an option when you cycle through radio modes.

It's literally plug and play... What do you think looks so hard about those instructions?
