Instaling Avic-D1. ANTENNA ADAPTER? WIRING HARNESS?

Hi,

I'm having the Avic-D1 installed next Monday. I did do a research and found that I need an "antenna adapter". Now where can I buy that antenna adapter? And what's the part number for it?

Also, do I need to buy any wiring harness? I really need help ASAP since I probably want to order the parts today so they can come in no later than this Friday.

Thanks!

go to good guys... they got it. its a Nissan Wiring Harness and Nissan Antenna Adapter. the one that Circuit City has doesnt work, theyre wired together for some reason...

they work on all Nissans so if they say "it doesnt work on a Bose system", they dont know what theyre talking about... it works on Pathfinders, Z's and G's i believe... good luck!

also, the Nissan Antenna Adapter is supposed to be a female one i believe, they sold me a male one and obviously it didnt work, so double check beforehand!

Metra P/Ns: 70-7550 for non Bose and 70-7551 for Bose. Antenna adaptor can either be NI-10 or NI-11

Thanks for the responses.

I have a base '05 G35 with no premium package. I assume that I don't have the Bose system?

I just came back from a Nissan dealer and they quoted me $155 for the parts. Does the price sound fair?

I'm going to Good Guys to look for them now.

So the brand is called Metra? And 70-7550 is the part number for the wiring harness?

Thanks!

I just got my HU installed today at Best Buy, they have the antenna adapter there, i think it was like $16 or something. All in all it was only $90 to install my Pioneer 6600DVD flip screen.
