X50 hardwire using Invisicord qucik connects
#16
I am investigating a local company that makes custom wiring harnesses, and this will be one of the topics I discuss with them. They should have ample supplies of different connector ends, and I will have to ask to browse their potential inventory. The only thing is some vehicles have a much higher tolerance or gap, and a thinner connector may not work for them. However if I choose a connector that is long enough and thin enough, for those harnesses with larger gaps, bending the connector in half would double the side and make it fit the harness.
Great info from everyone, unfortunately you don't know much about my R&D and support currently, but I have been revamping my process and product for over a year on the corvette forum and am just starting to reap the benefits of trying to maintain great customer support, listening to constructive critcism, and making periodic modifications to my product. Please be patient and bear with me, I will make this a better product with all the input!

Got my cord today (that was fast, thanks teamspeed) and it's too thick to get in there. So I did a tim the tool man taylor, and used a hammer to flatten it out several times, and after the 3rd try, it worked.
Now I'm just waiting on mikes mount, so I have to use the crappy suction cups for the time being. I'll be sure to post if comes loose - I don't think so, but we will see.
Great product, and it only took 8 minutes even with the hammering.
