Speaker Spacers
Speaker Spacers
A little while back I asked if anyone was able to make me spacers after attempting to make them myself (didn't have the right equipment) I deceided to do a search on ebay and found some. They are made by Mike of ZEnclosures (mlg9770 on here I believe) They're custom made for the Z, but they actually fit the G becaue the bolt patterns are a perfect match. With the Z, the sharpest angle of the spacer has to be at the bottom, but with the G, it has to be at the top.

I'm using speaker baffles from Crutchfield with my install. So if anyone wants/needs spacers and is not able to make them, follow the link.

Ill still to cutting circles and making my own new holes to mount the rings. A router table can really be your friend.
Although cutting these is quite simple with just a jig saw. No need for any special equiptment.
As far as gapping, I usually have a substantial amount of dampning on my/customers doors where it does seal up quite well. All though 3M strip caulk can do the job as well.
