Please help - sat radio ?

I am installing a sirius radio into the cubby hole in the dash of my 04 coupe
I know of a site that explains opening the dash, putting in my antenna, etc
The question i have involves hooking up my radio to the electrical system.
Right now i have a car adapter plug powering the radio, however i would like to connect it to the electrical system so my dash looks clean and my adapters are available.

It is a sirius clarion calapyso system.

I am just looking for some information to hardwire the power of the radio to the cars electrical system.

My friend said to find the circuit for something that is not running when the car is off, such as the windshield wipers, then get a fuse and connect the radio. Is this right? Pictures would be helpful

Thanks for any help

Do some searches on hardwiring radar detectors; You're just looking for power so its the same thing. You can run a wire threw the dash into the driver's side fuse box. Then you just ground it any bare metal spots.
