Escort 8500 - Red or Blue?

Does the red match our orange at all? (Sometimes red LED's are really orange or pink). Or is the blue a better look?

I think the Red is close enough. I like it in my car.

Get the red. At night, I've passed a few cars and have noticed the blue hue from the other car's radar detector. Its better IMO to have a stealthy set up, to keep it less noticeable to other drivers and the cops. The red isn't as noticeable.

I like the blue cuz its the new one and everyone has red. Red or blue can be too bright at night that's why you have the dim button on it. Mine was same price as red but not sure if they just didn't know it was blue.

Red, a different color is not worth the extra $$ plus you want to be cool like me.

Go blue. I did and it matches pretty close to my AVIC-N1. I like it. I paid the same price as the red as well.

Blue looks cooler, without a doubt.

But I went with the red one because our dash is orange and red, so atleast it matches something. The blue would look very out of place.
