This a bit too much?
For my 05 coupe is this amplifier (Kicker KX850.4) any good and if so is it a bit too much for these speakers:
2 channels: Focal 165V1 100w RMS
2 Shared channels:
Focal 690CA1 75w RMS
Diamond Audio D66 1i 100w RMS
The kicker is rated at 175W x 4 @ 4ohm
Or should I just scrap the whole setup....
I was also thinking should I just not bother replacing the coaxials in the back and put in the Focals and get a sub w/4080 and a seperate amp?
Thanks

Not real familar with that gear but one option to consider would be:
Use the Kicker amp w/ 2 channels running the Focals (careful to set the gains on the low side as to not overpower them) then bridge the other 2 channels and run a 10" sub in the 4080 W/ that. This set up would give you 175w (alittle less with gains down) and 400+ to the sub. You can then run rear fill (stock speakers or some coax) with the headunit or other small amp.
Convaluted response, sorry, but maybe some ideas.
