So for those of us that are prewired for SAT, can we install this unit in the trunk where the factory sat unit goes, or does the unit HAVE TO go behind the radio?

I have the same exact question. Does anybody know if you could somehow hook up pa11-nis using the harness in the trunk? I know you have to route the power through the adapter. The OEM Nissan iPod kit mounts in the trunk, but unfortunately its an iPod dedicated kit without any aux inputs. Thanks!

About to Install PA11

It's been a while since anyone posted to this thread, so here I go with questions to people who have.

2003.5 Sedan

If my car is pre-wired for SAT (not sure if it is yet), can I just unplug the SAT cable from behind he head unit and leave it unplugged?

I understand that it shows up on the head unit as a CD-changer. What happens if you press the SAT button on the head unit?

Is there room to put the NIS unit under the center console? (near the shifter)

Is the NAV cubby a bad place to put the iPod because of heat concerns?

The USA SPEC instructions don't mention dip switch 1. Does it do anything?

Lastly, has anyone with a newer unit used "Hybrid mode"? Any thoughts?

Thank to all who have posted thus far.

On the packaging it says '03 - '05 (and no SAT radio)

on their Website it says Nissan vehicles through '06. I would give them a call befor ordering one.

Nano 4G?

Anyone know if PA11NIS will charge the new nano4G? I know they switched the charging mechanism in the new nano's and touch's.

Also, I keep searching, but is there a nice DIY video for accessing the radio for a 2004 sedan?
