Yeah, it'll work on your car. If you have a SAT button, then you have an 03.5. The early 03's didn't have a SAT button.

I am not sure as to if the sattelite radio will still work, becuase the PA11-NIS plugs into the SAT radio plug.. My car is sattelite ready, but I dont have SAT Radio.. but the module is simulating a CD CHGR.. so dunno..

RST531, Im pretty sure the IPOD Video would play in Direct Mode.. I have a NANO

So if you wanted to pic a certain song you cant? Can you get out of the playlist mode and choose individual songs. I appreciate your answers!

Crutchfield, an authorized dealer, currently has the PA11-NIS for $119.99...
now don't write me off just yet! Here's the deal
1) add one to your cart
2) choose "Yes, I want the free instructions and installation gear..." & click Next
3) Select 200#, Infiniti, G35, Coupe/Sedan, with Bose system

you will then be left with
USA Spec IPOD Interface Nissan
FREE Crutchfield Guide: Peripherals Installation
FREE Crutchfield Guide: Installing an iPod in your Car
Standard Shipping $10.99
Order Total $130.98

4) in the box below "Special offer or catalog code?" enter 3A139 and then click on Submit
*this coupon is scheduled to expire on 28-FEB*

Your order will then be discounted $10 and also receive free shipping
Total paid is $109.99
I put in my order on Friday, got the box on Tuesday-- UPS 2nd Day Air!
This kinda deal for peeps in Hawaii are few & far between!

The FREE guides are pretty damn hokey... it's like Installation 101 the cliffnotes version but, hey it's icing on the cake as far as i'm concerned. It may make decent enough reading for 1 sitting on the throne (if ya know what i mean)

anywho, i hope this helps some fellow forumers...

Grizzly, thanks for the info and I just placed my order. For others in the group that are ordering I did get a response stating that the interface was not compatible with the 03.5 coupe w/Bose. Dialed the 800 tech line for Crutchfield and the tech stated the same. After discussing the info listed in the threads he advised to me order and return with free shipping if I have any operational issues. Now to find a clip. Thanks

In DIRECT mode. you can use the IPOD as normal, or use the factory controls.
In PLAYLIST mode, the IPOD screen is locked and works as I described earlier in the post.

ipod hookup

Great tip on the Crutchfield deal. I just ordered mine for an 03 Sedan. I found a link that shows an install of a PAC unit. It seems like you have to take 1/2 the interior apart. Has anyone found an easier way to install this unit?
