I just called USA Spec who makes the unit. They told me that the unit will work with a '06 Bose system.

Mine is ordered from Crutchfield, thanks for the coupon code! (only 10 bucks discount with a Visa, 20 with a Mastercard I think)

USA Spec's number is 626-890-6410 if you want to ask about your particular model year. It sounds like it will work with all of our cars, but call them if you have any questions.

Also a link to the manual:

Lol, call the number above! They make the product and should know..

And read the manual!

It doesn't use the SAT button, the adapter acts as a CD changer. The year of the car is more important than if the SAT button is there or not.

According to the manual, the unit supports 03-05. I called and confirmed that 06 is supported as well.

I just ordered mine today. Thanks for the coupon code Fuzz!

Just a reminder, you must use a MasterCard to receive the discount.

I called the USA spec guy at the number above and he said that it WILL override the cd changer on the 03 sedans. However, on page 3 of this thread a few of you posted that you can still use your cd changer. So now im really confused. Whats the real answer?

Ok now I got a clear answer. The guy said that it will NOT take over your cd changer and if you just press the CD button twice it will toggle through. So this is consistent with everything else people have been saying.

Yeah it's confusing because you could hook up an external CD changer (or SAT). In the case of the external changer it uses the control and audio inputs and in the case of the SAT i would guess it just uses the audio ins.

The indash CD changer is not affected.

Hey guys. I just bought it too. I have one more question:

Is there a noticable lag when switching through songs? I've heard that some of the ipod interfaces have a 1-2 second lag with swithching through songs.

This should definitely be a sticky... or at least someone should repost with a final "Here's what we know works, and how well it works". Maybe just edit the first post and put it all there. Just a thought. Also, where is the easiest, hidden, place to install the PA11NIS... i.e. taking the least amount of stuff apart.

thanks

Joe Mac
