Better Use Of An Ashtray

I hardwired my Valentine 1 today and mounted the remote display in the ashtray. Was very easy to do and only cost me about $25 and a couple of hours. Here are some pics:

How do you like the Valentine 1? I'm seriously considering installing one in the G and one in the FX...From what I understand it's a great investment...I like the display, too...

The best $400 I ever spent......Has saved me numerous times. In my opinion, there is no other radar detector!!!

No...Thats as far as it goes. Only lacks about 1/4" to close. I can live with that.
