Need suggestion on a $250 removable, Clean & Hard hitting bass?
Any one has any good suggestion on a budget $250~ $300 removable, Clean & Hard hitting bass? I need my truck space for weekend grocery shoppings and as Airport shuttle for frequent family visitors, so removability on a dime its my number 1 concern. I also pertty picky about my bass, well not as picky as before but I don't want to spend too much right now as I'm still shopping for another car perhaps a Honda Oddyssey for my weekend duties. Thanks.

Hmm. Budget $250-350, but you want clean and hard hitting bass? Those two dont go together..
Kenwood Powered Sub
BAzooka Tube 200-watt powered 10" bass tube
Infinity Basslink
For a little more..

I came aross the same trio as well. Out of these 3, which one is better as providing clean and punchier bass? Also, is there any more selection other then these trios? Thanks.

I know what you mean. I've been there and done that. For now I just wanted something decent until I put up enough cash to purchase my next car. For now this is a luxury that I can not afford but I just can not live without a little punch in my music. So, please be kind and provide some suggestions. Thanks.

I guess I was not clear enough. My recommendation is to get one of the items Real_G linked in. I do not think you are going to find that one is substantially better than the next... especially considering you're just looking for a little extra punch and plan on getting another car soon. If this is just to tide you over, any of those should work well.

Well the building a box is not an option. He stated he wanted something that could be easily moved. Because of airport p/u and fairly constant use of trunk. Unless he got a standard 4sided box. But now he is back at the $ factor. Seems from the posters that you get little benefits with the constraints.

If you're willing to go with used stuff, you can get a pretty good sub for $250-$300. I just bought a Precision Power PC2400 chrome amp off of ebay for $120 shipped. There was some slight pitting of the chrome, but hey it's for a budget project. Get an Image Dynamics IDQ10. Brand new. That's about $120 shipped as well from sounddomain. Prebuilt box for $40. Spend $20 for a LOC (if the amp can't take high level inputs) and you have yourself a good $300 sub system.
