Factory IPOD integration--coming soon?

I've been itching to get a hard-wire IPOD solution but wanted to hold for the factory solution since the PAC AAI-NIS2 doesn't work with the steering wheel controls. It looks like Nissan already has this avail on most models..any idea when infiniti will get factory ipod integration? It seems pretty sad that Nissan is getting cool factory add-ons before its upmarket brand.

If i understand you correctly....

there IS a device that allows you to plug in your IPOD and use steering wheel controls....

^^^Where do you buy that? I went to usaspec.com and they sent me to Crutchfield, who then said that the only option for my car is this Harmon Kardon thing...

I just bought the newly released Neo Ion and it works great. Digital sound, charges my IPOD, and I can use my steering wheel controls for the IPOD. Very easy to install. You can find it at the link below.

I'd still really like to know when someone is going to come out with an integration that let's you keep the satellite radio and allows use of the steering wheel controls.

I had mine installed at Streetnoyz in San Diego for $325 I think. I still use volume controls on steering wheel, and have one more sat input as long as I go factory. Not to concerned about searching for tracks on the steering wheel as that would take forever with over 5000 songs. The click wheel is far faster. Love it so far and I am getting sat installed as soon as dealer gets body colored fin style antenna's in stock.

They used the Peripheral PXNI Infiniti/Nissan Aux In and the PXP01 Ipod to RCA and Power.
