Has anyone used either of these DD headunits? The kenwood looks nice and has a 7in screen.

no experience with this JVC unit but we had the single din in dash last year on display and it stoppe working after about a month. now this could very easily have been to some of the "customers" that come into Circuit City where i work messing with it. But during my 10+ years in the 12 volt industry i think you will be better off with the kenwood. you may also want to look at the Eclipse, we put a 5435 in an 05 350z wednesday and it looked and worked great, we also just got the panasonic double din in and it is really nice. Look at the Alpine as well, i have heard great things about it. I got a nice look at the pioneer Z1 during a training in feburary and it is a really really nice unit. Right now if i was to go double din conversion i would look at the Alpine first, with the new blackbird if i wanted navi, then the eclipse and pioneer. if navigation is not an issue i really like the new panasonic.
