I bought a new 500/5 from ebay and of course the amp is nto working properly. I assume since I bought it from a dealer on ebay I am not covered under warranty. Will JL fix it for me and charge me? Or can I take it to a regular electronic shop to be fixed what is my best bet here?

They will fix it at their discretion. They of course have the right (and most definitely will) charge for the service, as well as turn you away completely.

This is all bearing in mind it is actually genuine JL equipment.

 

What exactly is wrong with it?

 

Did it come with a serial number sticker?
