Factory Sat Radio or Delphi
Factory Sat Radio or Delphi
I'm having trouble deciding which to get. I am prewired and I like the fact that if I get the factory receiver, I can use the existing controls on the Bose stereo. Plus there are no wires present(no power outlet, tape adapter, etc...) Also I don't have to mount it on the dash.
On the other hand, the Delphi(check the new "Roady" that is coming soon) has a cooler display, more features, is portable, and is less than half the price of the factory unit. Help me decide. Thanks.

Re: Factory Sat Radio or Delphi
i have the xm factory sat radio. love xm. was easy to install and very clean. that being said i put a delphi unit in my wife's tahoe and i am jealous every time we take her car. the g35 head unit only has a 1 line 10 char. display and i miss not being able to see the station/artist/title all at the same time not to mention to see the full 16 characters for each line. also the cool thing about the delphi skifi is that you can scan throught all the stations and see what's playing while still listening to the channel you have currently tuned in. once a blitzsafe or pie adapter is available i will probably switch to a roady or skifi unit. don't want to do it now and have to use fm mod or tape adapter.
