Navi screen problem....will dealer mind mods?

for the past 3 months i have had a hair on the bottom of my navi screen for some reason.....dont ask how it got there, i dont know. Im wondering, can the dealer do anything about this? can i do anything about it? its on the screen under the plastic protector you can touch. Im just worried about taking it to the dealer, cause i have the tvandnav2go + pac units back there, with a ps2/dvd player/tuner and all that good stuff hooked up, dont want the dealer to start voiding stuff.....(everything works perfectly fine, i know theres a law or something saying warranty's void only if mods cause problems).

Anyway's its gotten tot he point its there and annoying me now, what should i do?

Has it been there the whole time you've owned the car?

Or did it appear after you did some work to the A/V stuff?

My guess is they won't be pleased with the fact that you are asking for service over a "hair." Your mods basically void the warrenty on your navi and head unit, nothing else. They would probably blame hair on the installation of your mods.

well, i went to the dealer today,t hey where all like...."a hair?...." it sounds retarted, but its been there before i did the mods, a good 4 months before mods...it just never really bothered me, only now tha ti actually look at the screen you can tell its there.

but anyways - dealer said they would ahve to replace the nave screen.....im not up for them taking apart my car, and risk screwing up my mods. ill live with a strand of hair

Take the stuff out, then get the new screen, then put it all back it.. or like you said... live with the hair.
