Best Rim Tire size for AutoX/Road

I have an 03 g35 cpe with the Brembos and I wanted to know what you guys thought the best rim size/width/offset/ and tire size would be. I was thinking about going 18 x 10 all around but I don't know if that will be a good idea. I am really interested in the handling but I also don't want it to look off. What do you guys recommend. Btw if this topic has been beaten to death b please excuse my noobness. I have been searching for this answer for a while and have not been able to find it. Also I will be running Eibach Pro-Kit. thanks.

If you are in Socal, I have a great set of wheels for you..CHEAP too.

They are Rays Forged 18" track wheels from a 2003 Z. They weigh 18 pounds and fit perfectly over Brembos. The wheels are 8" all around with 225/45/18 Potenzas.

$550 picked up

PM me if you are in Socal and interested

agreed.

OEM 18 Rays from the Z is a good economic choice + you'll be buying them from a great guy (SxExCx)

but if you have a little bit of money i'd go with Nismo LMGT4's, also made by Rays and are pretty damn lightweight

I wouldn't worry too much about the appearance, but I'm not sure if 10 inch wide rims would fit on the front. The rims mentioned above would be a good width and weight trade-off. If you have the $$, get some r-rated track tires. They won't last long, but the stickiness will nail you down.

I'd say a 9" width with a 255 or 275 tire is your best bet for up front. The 275/40 up front will be easist with a 17x9 or 17x9.5 with an offset in the 20-30 range. I suggest the 5zigen FN01, light cheap and many sizes available.

Wow nice - so, no rubbing at full lock? Just curious - wanting to go as wide as I can but I reaaallly don't want to run into rubbing issues.

Im pretty sure the track wheels (350z) are staggerd fit at 8" FR and 8.5" RE. I own a set. Unless the '03 differ from the '05 wheels. And so FR being 8", I dont think your buddy could fit 275's on 8" wheel. Unless the tires are Stretcharmstrong brand.
