NASA had there 3rd event in the NW last Sunday at PIR (Portland International Raceway) Need to see some more G's out there.
Here's one lap of Pacific Raceway from the last NASA event. My track days are over for the year. A couple more Auto-X events in October then its waiting for the next season to start.
What did you use for the overlay in the first video? I would like something like that for when im auto x'ing. that way I can see what type g's I pull and the speed for the corners.

If you have an iphone, you can use harry's lap timer. If you have an android you can use trackmaster, but integrating the video overlay is more problematic.Originally Posted by Conway_160

The g-meters are with the phone's internal accelerometers, so it's decent. The speed and position is mostly through GPS, and most phones only sample gps data at 1hz. It's decent for overall lap times on a track, but not great for much else, and might not be accurate enough for autox. The speed is basically worthless. It'd be better to mount your camera behind your headrest so you can see your speedometer. You can get standalone gps sensors to work with harry's but they aren't great and it's kind of complicated. you can get standalone 5-10hz gps to work with trackmaster pretty painlessly.
I use a Dual Universal GPS receiver that works via Blue Tooth and is painless, just turn it on. Useing that and Harry's lap timer it's pretty accurate. Great for lapping days on tracks but I have not had success at Auto-X

^What size and offset are your wheels.
Advan RS Fronts are 19x9 w/22 offset and 10mm spacer with 275/30, Rears are 19x10 w/25 offset and 5mm spacer with 295/30. Tires are Yokohama AD08R
Was out at the Ridge and took a friend Sue for a ride. Set at personal best on lap 4 with a 2:04
cool vids, I see Harry's lap timer is now available for Android. I'll have to give it a shot.
Are you still running the AD08 tires? I like them quite a bit, albeit I run a slightly different size: 265 f / 275 r

very nice, i will have to give the R's a try on the next tire change. I've looked at other potential dual duty tires like RE11s but reviews always bring me back to the AD08's. Originally Posted by 06PlatinumG

Putting them to good use at NJMP:

Nice, always good to see another G on the track. I seem to be the only one in the NW
there's not that many around here either, I'll occasionally see one at the track, but it's rather rare. More often it's a 350.
Cool wheels btw, Advans ?
