Cool. You've run with one of the nicest guys out there. Todd is an awesome driver and I've been fortunate enough to run with him several times. He's a great guy!

 

By the way, as you'll see here Tommy Regan blew everyone away at this particular Divisional event, but comparing my times to Todd was a bit closer. First day, my best raw time was actually faster than Todd's by .61 , but I had a cone on that run (yet it was still my best???). On the second day he beat me by 1.27 sec.

Lead_foot, that is quite a list of mods. Have your dyno'd your G yet? I'd be curious to see how many RWHP you're getting.

No ST classes can run R Compounds.

 

You should be able to run the G35 in BSP; however, there are a few things allowed in STX that are not allowed in BSP, so you'd have to take a closer look at the rule book. You may have a better chance with your Evo which I think has been reclassed to BSP.

 

I'm running a Sedan in DS. K&N filter and Kumho Victoracer V700 tires on some 17lb 17x7 rims. I think I ran the tires 39/32 at the last event. The alignment is set to max negative camber still within the factory "normal" range, though I'm thinking of pushing it out more, as my daily commuting tires don't seem to be adversely affected as yet.

I'm staying clear of STX myself for now. I'd recommend staying in the stock classes. I don't think the G35 coupe will be competitive in STX, and even if it is it'll take a lot of work to get there.

 

Well some folks like me get into STX initially just b/c of an intake mod. I gotta say - at least we have STX and don't go directly to BSP like the Z guys...
