Great mod for the price of everything, I think I'll just keep mine blacked out though.

Does anyone know where to get these light bars in Cool White.......the only thing they have now at SuperBright LEDs are Warm White, which only equal 2800k for color temp. The Cool White are equal to 6000k, but no longer an option.........any ideas? I have played around with trying to get this look using other strips, but due to them not being rigid like these, I have run into issues. On a side note......baking these side markers in the oven for a bit, the same way you open up your headlight housing to paint, allows you to insert the strips without having to cut the crap out of the back of the side marker housing. Any help with the cool white strips would be greatly appreciated.

The light bars in the cool white color are now sold out. The only thing they have is warm white which suck because the temp on them is only around 2800k instead of 6000k, so I went through V-LEDS and got the 6 inch strips. From there I cracked open my set of black side markers, cut down the strips to size, and used the 3m double sided tape that comes attached to these strips to attach them. From there, I wired everything up, then used Epoxy to bond the side markers back together with a water tight seal. I actually like mine better.....no offense to anyone here.....because of the fact that these strips span across the entire side marker. Take a look.......and sorry about the pics, only camera I had working at the time was my iPhone....

Nice! My Leds are turning yellow now and I don't like it. BTW is it possible to fit two strips in clear corner? Is your led strips bright white like real 6000k?
I always hated that superbirhgtled product had random color even it said cool white, sometimes it was not even close to 6000k.

Quote: i did this mod today and it worked for like two seconds now none of my clearanance lights are turning on. when i put on my clearance lights my turn signals dont turn on either. i think the fuse is blown but i have no clue which is the fuse for those particular lights. can anyone please help me out?

my turn signals work when im turning but they do not turn on with my clearance light.

the clearance strip, side markers, and license plate lights are not working at all
That happened to me when I put some led on the license plate lights. Well it is a blown fuse you have to remove the battery and the fuse box is right behind it read the box it should tell you which fuse to replace I think it says turn signals or something.

Also, does anyone have pictures of these outside on a bright sunny day, I've done LED projects in the past and noticed on a sunny day that they almost appear invisible. I wanted to see some pics of how they look on a sunny day
