Too bad you had to leave. Afterwards Kurtis, Gabe, Marty, Viet, and I all went out for lunch.
Same to you. I was supposed to meet a college buddy back at campus to help him fix some panels on his Audi (fender bender), but when I got there he was too sick to get out of bed and didn't bother telling me till I got there.

Do you guys meet up in skyline alley every Sat?

Not always, but quite often. It depends on car show schedule. The G's in attendance will also differ.

just finish mines they look sweet and perfect work for a carbon fiber hood but i must say if you are trying to break a record in the quikest install be carefull and time your time because i try to do them quik and everything was coming sweet but when i bolted a hood bracket i didnt notice it went down a little bit instead of the normal position so when i was ready to pop the damper in it wont let me insert the clip so i was tripin with it for a few minutes until i figure out the hood bracket was to much downwards the hood so i loosen it up and retighten this time normal position and it work perfectly so be focused when you do your damper guys

there,s a lot of things that may be going on like:if your hood is carbon fiber and you using dampers for stock hoods your hood will never close,or those dampers maybe worn out!,like TEIN dampers are made only for stock hoods,NRG make dampers for either stock or c. fiber hoods

You have to compress them when they are off the car. And pretty much use your body weight to push them down.

This was the easiest install yet on my car. Just one question, I can not get the small pins in on the hood side of the damper do they need to go on. It feels like they are locked in pretty good without them.
