Awesome DIY.

Are you going to offer the CF ones? I might get rid of my current black ones for some CF ones.

Yes he has the CF ones as well. He was selling them at the BBQ.

Edit: I found some on E-bay, they are the same NRG ones, but they cost more on Ebay. Here is how the CF ones look like.

do you have pix of your black ones?... Are they this style? If so I have the chrome ones if you want to trade (possibly). I was going to paint mine but have been debating... I think I might prefer black though (because of the color scheme in my engine bay)

Randy,
I tried to PM.. but PM's are still broken...
I installed the hood dampers. They work and look great! Except....
when I open my hood the passenger side up by the windshield clips/rubs the top of my fender. I have check to make sure all the bolts are tight. Do you have any suggestions on how to adjust the left side so it doesn't continue to chip paint every time I open my hood? It happens right at the 'pointy part' of the back, near the windshield, part of the hood.
Thanks!
Roger

Now this answers the questions I was left with after my install this morning.

Although I did things a lil different everything seems to work fine, but I think I'll go out tomarrow and do it like the DIY explains.

*I didn't bend the ball on the fender

*I also mounted my brackets on the front bolt instead of the rear bolts on the hood and dremeled the plastic covers so i could put them back on.

Why could I find this Thread this Morning when I was doing this...lol.
