Just did this conversion on my 2003 sedan.....very easy and fun to do. I used a switch, so I can easily switch between the two (F and C). Ill post a pic or two, just for fun

^ Radio Shack, Home Depot, Lowe's?

I used a splicer from Lowe's. See the post #31 in this thread.

OK. i think I might try that, but how do you connect the two wires with that splicer? sorry I've never done anything like this and don't wanna screw it up.

1. Put the wires through it making sure they are properly aligned.
2. Use pliers to push the aluminum slider into the splicer.
3. Close the clamp.

Done.

Good luck!

And remember that the trickiest part is putting the clock bezel back in place. I highly recommend what somebody else suggested in this thread--put the two pieces together before inserting them. If you try to do it one by one, they would not align well...

Just wanted to share my success with this mod. it was surprisingly easy as everyone had mentioned especially for someone who has no prior expereince with soldering. i highly recommend this to all my fellow Canadians who imported a G from the states or anyone else who wants Celsius temperature to display!

much thanks to the one who created the DIY and everyone else for their comments and tips.
