I just picked up a set of 19's locally and i am looking into the graphite color. Any chips on your wheels so far express? I am hoping to do about 7-9 coats of paint with 15 mins in between dry time + 3 coats of clear with a day in between paint and clear. Is this good enough? Will it chip easy?

no chips, but 7-9 coats is way too much.

I would say 5 coats is more than enough

I have the same question as Da-G-Spot regarding center caps and also does it look bad with the same bolts or did you paint those as well, and also is there a site where I can buy that same paint you used online express? Better yet, do you know any stores that carry the paint you used? Really interested in this, may start tomorrow since it is my last day of class and I have nothing but time. =)

Pick up paint and sanding materials at Pepboys, tape gloves and misc at Home Depot its cheaper that way. Lugs its better to buy them in black or try to find something similar to the color you will paint, otherwise it will chip or scratch when you remove/install them.

Bondo and Primer can be bought at local auto supply stores ( advanced, pepboys, even Walmart )
