So far I've got the bondo in but haven't cut out any of the backing yet. I'm undecided wether I'm going to.

^To be honest it really doesnt matter, im assuming you will be painting it black, you won't be able to see any of it, unless you really look....if anything just trim parts of it...

Yeah it's gonna be black. I'm actually getting close to finishing. I can always trim it later if I feel like it.

Cutting the back out will make it much easier to sand the grill

^I'm discovering that. It's especially difficult trying to duplicate the bumps

if you're using bondo or another type of filler, a dremel with a grinding bit will make it much easier to do the rough shaping

Yeah I'm actually shaping the bumps with a combination of the dremel and sandpaper by hand. I'm getting close but am not quite satisfied yet.

It is a chore. I keep laughing at myself because I'm not even sure why I'm even doing it when the new bumper I'm getting doesn't work with the OEM grill anyway. This is what happens to me in between semesters when I have nothing else to do with and extra grill lying around. HAHA

^Yep that's the plan. I'm should be ordering it this week. I'm debating about what sides to get with the CS rear and K2 front though. I'm considering picking up Sin3's Ings but may get impul instead. What do you think would look best?

I like them too and they are urethane so I think they would look nicer longer than fiberglass.
