i wish mine could look as good as shane's do but mines just going to have to suffice.. I'll take pics tomorrow when I finish. I have the basic mold and such done, I just forgot to pick up the bondo putty for the small imperfections.. and my humps probably aren't spaced correctly but it's fine for me

hey shane, do you mold the bumps on the row second to the bottom? I noticed there is a flat space below the infiniti emblem and wondering if you guys just leave that as-is or bondo new bumps on it to replicate the others. Also, could you give me a tip on how to make a temporary mold of the bumps? Should I cover them with plastic tape, then bondo a mold around them and remove it and then tape the mold and bondo the inside?

yes, we put a bump in that spot as well. you'll need to make 4 new bumps total.

I have the bumps for all 3 rows. I made molds for all 3 spots.

A temp mold...what I just did for my first grill was just slap on a bunch of bondo the shape the bumps with a dremel and sand a bunch after that.

^ would that be the best/most effective method? should i not try to actually replicate the bumps making a mold w/ bondo?

take your time man. there's no reason to rush it and you'll never be happy if you see imperfections.
