Low beam is H4 (forgot temp, i think like ~4000k)
Clearance light is a 194 led bulb (7-led bulb, white)
Same with corners

i did D2R 6k low beam HIDs, nitro blue 6k H4 high beams/fogs and 8smd city lighst...looks great but not sure if this is normal.

when i turn the lights on the low beams are a real bluish color and they start to heat up...just about when they are clear and heated up the low beams click off. If i then turn them off and turn them back on then the lights stays on (once they are warmed up). Basically keep clicking off until heated up then staying on like normal. this is only the low beam hids doing this on both sides, all other lights are being normal. The low beam hid's never did this with the stock bulbs. Is this normal when replacing the bulbs?
naw its not normal. i replaced mine with 6ks too and it never did that.
Also, does your 6k h4's match your low beams? Did u buy a bulb or a hid kit? I bought 6k h4s and they ended up being the same color as the oems (i wanted them 6k to match my low beams but they didnt ... )
if they do match, mind linking where u buy it? (and any pics of it?)

i just did bulbs and didnt do a hid kit on my high beam..its hard to say for me this early how close the h4 6k nitro blue and the 6k hid match. Ive only looked at it from a few feet away in the garage. So gimme time to get everything installed when i get the new bulbs and get the car out and stand back. It does look much much closer to matching than the pic u have up above..There is no yellow at all to my h4 6k nitro blue...Ill have some pics in time

heres the h4 i bought down the page a little ways in this link:

I went a different route

Hello forum,

Yesterday I was needing to replace the driver's side clearance light and found this forum after googling the topic. After reviewing the photos (thanks so much for that reference, OP) - and the description of the steps to replace this bulb, I thought to myself, 'self? maybe there's another way through this because this seems like a bit much'. I popped the hood open and looking behind the headlight housing I was able to see the clearance light stalk referenced in a photo from the OP as #1. I reached my hand in and turned the stalk, pulled it out. Then after changing the bulb it took a couple of minutes to find the mounting hole for the stalk since it's obscured from view by the rear of the headlight housing, but I got it back in and gave it a turn and that was that. Thanks again to the OP for the reference photos - a picture worth a thousand words and all that good stuff...

So is there anyway to make/remove the turnsignal cover inside the housing and make it like the projectors where they are clear? I really dislike the amber

Not sure if anyone will read this but when we are replacing the bulb, do we have to disconnect the negative battery cable or remove power fuse before replacement?

Or is it fine? I didn't see this being mentioned at all, so thought I'd ask as that's what I see in the service manual.
