just did the clearance strip today using this DIY, was fairly easy to do using the OEM jack that came with my G, the hardest part imo was turning the bulb for the clearance strip back in after changing it, took me several trys. +1 on this DIY

help different bulbs?

So I did the wheel thing, jacked up the G coupe and took out the panel. I opened up the housing and took out the bulb...and I was shocked to see this kind of bulb (right in pic) instead of the one I bought from infiniti (left in pic) that SAID this is the bulb I need for my car. Do I need to get an adapter? or am I missing a piece? or is infiniti just totally wrong with the bulb they gave me?

Life saver

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to post that thread. When my bulb burned out, I thought it would be as easy as replacing bulbs in BMW's. Imagine my surprise when, after realizing the headlamp was a single unit, I looked in the manual and it said to take it to a dealer. For a light bulb!

Thanks again.

I know this is an old thread but if anyone is reading it, you can get H4 bulbs for the fog slash high beams in 100/55 100 on high beam and 55 as stock on the fog beam, If it's cold out when you do this, take the tire off and the inner wheel housing to make it easy on yourself. I may post this on my web page for all to see..
