This worked great, simple and effective. I could definitely notice a difference and it gave me more room for my 6'5" frame

What did you use for a tool? I used a stubby wrench & got it to move maybe 1/4 turn and couldn't get the wrench lined back up for another turn. Almost seemed like it wasn't a hex nut.

So I was having a hard time with the seat in place... I ended up pulling the seat out... and using needle nose pliers to move the nut. I have an 05 Sedan and the nut wasn't compatible with a 14mm wrench... It just had 2 dimples on the side of it. Now I have a lower back part of the. I like it. It feels good to sit lower. Now I just need to figure out why my auto-exit isn't working anymore..

Thanks, the two dimple makes sense on why I couldn't line up the wrench the 2nd time. I'll have to pull the seat & do it that way.

Easy mod. Definitely worth the 15 minutes. Follow the pictures on page 7 and you will have no problem. I removed the nut to have additional room, takes a 12 mm wrench. Then cranked the nut towards the front of the car.

Hey there. I have a 2007 G35 Sport Sedan and am seeing if my car is compatible wth this mod. The pictures on this thread don’t match what I am seeing. In my picture the area in red is the part that is moving when moving the seat up and down.
Any insight? Thank you!
