Thank you!!!!! I am 6'-4" and 275lbs, so this helped tremendously! I have a nice little space between my head and the sunroof now finally lol. Best free mod ever!

Well i did it. I didnt get the killer head room i was hoping for but it def worked. Page 3 had good pictures to get you on your way. Took me over 20 min but that was just trying to find the right tool. Its hard to get an adjustable wrench back there but with really small turns i got the nut in place.

I am so glad I found this. I am 6'4" and usually spike my hair a little bit. It's so annoying when it brushes the roof that I find myself slouching and getting a sore neck.

I will try this as soon as I get home.

Anyone have pictures of how to do this fix? The original pictures and those on page 3 are not loading anymore.

Just tried doing this and it worked, but I messed with it a bit more and now I don't know where it's supposed to be. I can move the nut all the way to the front or towards the back, maybe halfway or near halfway. Where should the proper positioning of the nut be? And when it's set and I put bring the 2nd nut with the rubber stopper to it, is there any tightening needed or does it simply just need to meet with the front nut? And just to verify, this should be done with the seat all the way forward, tilted forward and the rear of the seat raised up correct?

I believe the original position was about 1/2" from the front of the screw

And when it's set and I put bring the 2nd nut with the rubber stopper to it, is there any tightening needed or does it simply just need to meet with the front nut?
The rubber stopper should be pushed so it touches the nut, I don't remember any tightening

And just to verify, this should be done with the seat all the way forward, tilted forward and the rear of the seat raised up correct?
I found it easiest to work on the underside of the seat with it front and tilted forward, It won't effect adjustments just makes it easier to work on.
