Maybe you didn't notice the lower triangulation point goes to the A-Arm mounting bolt.
Believe me this thing is STIFF!

Would I have to mod a stock intake box to fit this?

I couldn't get it to work......
So I went the easy route & changed to the Stillen.

I plan to have another go at the OEM box in the fall, when I have more time.

I drove Scott's G35 out at Streets of Willow last weekend and loved the way it felt with the front strut tower brace. It felt like a Z which is awesome. I have a G35 as well, so I could tell the difference right off the bat. I was pleasantly suprised that I could actually feel that much of a difference. I thought it would be one of those mods that you can't really tell you installed when driving, but it was awesome. The G35 needed it pretty badly.

I had the VRT STB installed last week on my 05 5AT coupe and from a performance standpoint, you can definitely feel a difference when cornering even with my stock suspension. I actually drove down to SD to have Scott's fabricator install it. It basically took him less than 30 minutes. When I got home, I noticed on the hood where the hood and headlamp meet on the driverside was raised a little right at the lamp. So there was a clearance problem on the drivers side of the crossbar I hadn't noticed before. After loosening a few bolts and fiddling with the crossbar and mounts a little, the clearance problem was solved. I found out about the STB thru these boards. After meeting with Scott and having been pleased with the STB I wanted to pass along my good experience with him and his shop. He's got pics of the STB on my coupe after installation that he's welcome to post.

Thanks for the review!

It is nice to have more people who have tried it give their $0.02.
