HAs anyone here contacted spc about the Reverse thing and the a arms hitting the fender wall? Its begining to annoy me. But what can i do...Hope SPC does something about this.

Bend something to get it in spec? That doesn't sound good. What would they bend?

i dont know i forgot what he said ...i wasnt really paying attention to him...but he said it wouldnt affect the arms tho.

only mod i kno of cusco is grinding more space to give u positive adjustment. nothing about bending.

those of u with the knocking problem, how much are u guys dropped?

any updates peter@iap?

i don't really know if is the camber arms, or what, but its only when i hit pot holes. and it a really really hard thump. i'm dropped about 3-3.5"

1.2" front. Making my Tokico D-Specs more firm up front helped a lot. Took a few miles for them to settle into the new setting, but it seems to be holding the A arm away on most bumps.

Now to get the ABS sensor fixed.

BTW I have 19 X 8.5 up front and 19 X 9.5 in the back. Does anyone know if the width of these wheels or the staggered setup would prevent the car from tracking straight with a proper alignment? My car pulls to the right and the alignment shop says the car is aligned correctly. Thay are saying that the width of the tires is causing the car to follow the crown of the road, but I swear it does this on a flat surface.

Making my shocks stiff was really effective against the hitting. If you want to hear a really nasty noise, go full soft on your shocks for a day.

So the crown of the road doesn't make your car drift towards the side of the road?

Ok, SPC has spent some serious time analyzing this situation. The first thought was there might have been a part change during one of the year transitions. They have compared the Nissan part numbers on all of the parts in question and state that all model years use the same part numbers.

They brought an 03 in and installed the kit and did not have any problems at all with the sensors. The engineers at SPC started to think about any possible installation error and came up with the possiblity of overtightening the sensor bracket. So they tried this and in doing so bent the bracket far enough to wear the sensor would not work.

Therefore, they think the issue may lay in tightening the sensor bracket. The next step is having one of the installed brackets mailed in for inspection. I am going to contact Aleok to ask him to mail them in. As soon as they receive them, they will compare them to the uninstalled brackets to see if they are bent enough to cause the sensor not to work.

I really appreciate everyones patience and will keep all of you updated on the progress.

How about the camber arms hitting the fender wall? Could this be fix or nah?

The fix for that is to raise the car.
