if you're really worried about tire wear, go to firestone and signup for their lifetime alignment deal. that way you can get an alignment now and another one once your springs have settled.

Thanks guys. The Z HTechs have been on the car for 5k miles. Do I still have to wait for the cut and new suspension parts (arms and toe bolts) to settle?

Add me to one of modified rear spring mount guys. Did this along with Eibach/SPC rear camber arms and toe bolts last night. I cut a 1/2" off the left side and a little more on the passenger side to even out the drop side to side and front to back. Perfectly satisfied with the drop of my Z Htechs now.

Nice! post some pics once it settles. I'm in the same boat as you, my h-techs dropped the driver's side more than the passenger, I need to go back and trim a hair more off the passenger side sometime. Glad you noticed it before cutting.

LOL, my G looks just like the picture of yours in the beginning of this thread.
I measured all four corners and that gave me a good baseline prior to cutting. The front is 1/4" lower than the rear; aesthetically, it looks good. I"ll post pics later. Thanks for the DIY.

I went to firestone and those fvckers don't do the G coupe. maybe it was some uneducated service guy (looked liked it), but he said straight away

that they don't do my car. now i have to go to infiniti to get robbed and get a fvcking alignment. is our staggered setup so rare or wtf is it?

^^The G is not an easy car to align from what I've been told. You just have to find a shop that knows what they're doing. It took my guy about 45 minutes to do the alignment after I did the mod.

I wouldn' trust firestone with my car anyways. Find a shop that specializes and alignments and will let you specify your exact alignment specs, and one that either lets you sit in the driver's seat or have ballasts to simulate your weight in the driver's seat.
