What springs to get?

Hey guys, just wondering what kind of lowering springs you have had good experiences/results with? I have the stock 18" wheels and i am trying to get a pretty noticable drop.

I was lookin at maybe tien s.tech's or the 350z h-techs, what would you guys recommend? Can I keep my stock shocks?

Also, would i need to get a camber kit and also some wheel spacers to make them flush when i get springs? Any recommendations for camber kits? Thanks!

I used to have a set of tanabe springs. It dropped the car a whole bunch and they weren't overly stiff. I love them

I did a 1" drop recently with H&R springs and love it. I had Eibach's on a previous vehicle, and found them too harsh.

"Do a search" is a good idea - but it only takes an extra minute to provide some useful commentary along with that recommendation - and most people on here know that the search function doesn't always yield the results that we're after.

get the tein 350z springs if you do. h-techs are less tha 1" and most likely wont require camber adjustments. the s-techs are closer to 1.5". heres a good link for spring info: https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/65190-g35-350z-aftermarket-coilover-springs-shocks-spec-s-w-updates.html

hmmm, so from that link i read that "Tein H-tech 350z linear springs .3”/.2” drop on 350Z G35 drop will be higher" does that mean that the g35 drop will be .8" and .7"?

The question of do I need a camber kit or not concerning 350Z H-tech's on a G coupe is a difficult thing to address. We'd like to think that when someone replies to that question they have actually had the car aligned. What makes things difficult is that about half of the coupe owner's with the springs needed front and rear correction to get within oem alignment specs, then a certain percentage didn't feel that the front was out of spec to pay the high cost for front arms and they only did the rear. While some said, the front and rear were fine and within spec no kits needed at all.

In general, drops past .8" on the coupe cannot align back to oem specs.

i have the 350z htechs and it dropped about .8" in the front and .6" in the rear. an alignment was performed and i'm real close to oem specs in the rear but since the front cannot be adjusted, i'm off by .3 degrees...not worth a camber kit to correct imo.
